This new piece for Advent by skilled composer Justin Wedgewood and accomplished text writer Michael Joncas is upbeat and driving. The darkness of its minor key is balanced by the energetic syncopations which musically depict the excitement of the lyrics. The vocal arrangement is split into two parts for high and low voices, with an optional fifth verse descant. Along with the keyboard and guitar scores, an alternate keyboard part is also included for a simplified accompaniment.
