Bio

Alexis Santos-Alvarado is a composer and workshop presenter who promotes unity among Catholics of all ages and cultural groups. At just 20 years of age, Alexis already has many years of ministry experience. He started composing music at age 14, and at age 15, he was asked to direct the Spanish Children/Youth Choir at his home parish, Our Lady of Peace Church in North Hills, California.

Alexis has presented workshops in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles and the Diocese of Fresno on topics including liturgical music, the unification of Catholics of different generations through music, the unification of Catholics of different cultures through music, and how music can unite the diverse Spanish-speaking community. Alexis also helps plan liturgies and XLT events for parishes throughout the San Fernando region of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.

Alexis currently serves as a music minister at various parishes throughout the Archdiocese of Los Angeles including St. Genevieve Catholic Church, St. Agatha Catholic Church and Our Lady of Peace Church, where he directs the Spanish Children/Youth Choir. He also serves as a music minister at Loyola Marymount University where he is pursuing a bachelor's degree in music composition. He resides in Van Nuys, California where he was born and raised.
