Currently a professor of ethics at the University of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, Leonardo Boff earned doctoral degrees in philosophy and theology and held the position of professor of Theology in Petrópolis, Brazil for over 20 years. He served as a consultant to the Bishop's Conference of Brazil and has over 70 published works to his credit.
