Bio
Thomas is a singer/songwriter and worship leader from Tempe, Arizona, inspired by the story of humanity, God’s redemption and the ability to create new things.
Under his father Chris Muglia's leadership in the church, Thomas began making music from a young age. A recent graduate from Arizona State University, he spent most of his time in college at ASU’s Catholic Newman Center, leading students in music at Masses, worship nights and community outreach events. Through his time in campus ministry, Thomas discovered a passion for honest songwriting and music that speaks to the heart. In February of 2019, he released his self-produced debut album "The Return.”
In February 2021, Thomas recorded his sophomore album I Have a Father in Nashville, Tennessee, with producer Paul Moak. “Recording this album was a songwriter’s dream," says Thomas. "Music is a tool for communication, it’s a way that we can share a message that people otherwise might not be willing to hear. We can take all these musical elements together with lyrics to make a succinct and focused message. When we do that with scripture or with our prayers, it becomes this powerful force, and that’s why I love to create music.”
I Have a Father was released in February 2022, featuring the songs "I Have a Father," "Let My Tongue Be Silenced," "For God Alone" and others.
Thomas' music combines prayerful and heartfelt songwriting with rich powerful melodies and dynamic instrumental textures. His lyrics strive to reflect all aspects of a relationship with God and the Christian walk of faith with honesty and authenticity.
