In his own quiet way, Paul Hillebrand has been busy since his last collection. Active in parish music ministry, he's also continued to compose -- and then some! The result is Journey to You, a compilation of his best new songs for the liturgy from the last ten years. Beautifully arranged and recorded, it takes listeners along a path of praise toward the heart of God.

Seasonal music, psalms, wedding songs and more
The 13 tracks include seasonal music -- four songs for Lent one for Advent -- psalms, Communion songs and a gorgeous work for weddings. They're contemporary in style, ranging from lyrical ballads to high-energy pop and rock pieces.

Lush arrangements, great vocals
A gifted vocalist, Paul takes the lead on all songs, moving easily from one style to another. His lush arrangements include parts for oboe, violin, cello, harp, trumpet and a variety of percussion, along with great backing vocals.

Help from the biggest names in liturgical music
A veteran musician, Paul has lots of friends in ministry. For this project, he gathered a virtual who's-who in liturgical music. Long-time friend Carl Herrgesell, keyboardist for Kenny Loggins and Kathy Troccoli, helped with production. Other contributors include Tom Booth, Craig Colson, Jaime Cortez, Chris Muglia, John Pennington, and 20 of the finest studio players in Phoenix.

Powerful Communion songs, new works for Lent
Featuring stunning instrumental parts, "Why Have You Abandoned Me?" and "Embrace the Cross" are strong new works for Lent, Good Friday and reconciliation. "I'm Always with You-Be Not Afraid" is a tender song of reassurance in troubled times. "Come to the Table" and "We Know Your Presence, Lord" are powerful Communion songs, destined for use as processionals in many parishes.

An excellent musical companion for the faith journey
Part of the faith journey is about discovering who we are and what God has called us to -- through prayer and worship. But it's also about going out into the world -- to serve and share our gifts. Journey to You makes an excellent musical companion for both.
