Luz Serena

This new collection from Antonio Alcalde, masterfully performed by the Coral Isidoriana in León, offers beautiful hymns for the Liturgy of the Hours. The songs include official hymn texts along with songs that reflect minor changes in the lyrics as well as others that are brand new.

Among the new hymns, some of the highlights are "¿A Dónde Te Escondiste?" de San Juan de la Cruz; "Nos Has Llamado al Desierto," a new Lenten song; y "Ave, Luz Mañanera," based on Ave Maris Stella for use during Marian feasts.
