The Association of Catholic Publishers 2022 Song of the Year

Inspired by Isaiah 55:1–7 and written during the COVID pandemic, Basi says this touching assembly song “belongs to all who are weary of battling forces that contradict the heart of the Gospel call.” SATB parts are included on the refrain of the piano score; the guitar score includes a simpler two-part setting for smaller choirs. Flute and cello parts are included. With its topics of comfort, conversion, healing, longing for God, welcome, and trust, this piece is especially appropriate for the season of Lent.
