Bio

Aldo Blanco is a Catholic singer-songwriter, preacher and presenter from San Luis Potosí, Mexico. Aldo began serving in parish music ministry in 1980, and later directed the orchestra and choirs of Nueva Alianza Community. In 1993, after winning the ¨Unidos¨ singing contest, Aldo launched his first collection, Misión Kyrios, with 10 of his songs. In 1998, his song “Jesús, hijo de David” was chosen as the official song of the Eucharistic Congress of the Archdiocese of San Luis Potosí.

Aldo has won multiple awards for his compositions at national festivals and developed a very active ministry preaching and presenting at events, locally and internationally. OCP published Aldo’s songs “El Rey de la Gloria,” “Juntos” and “Regocíjate.” In 2004, his song “Es Jesús” was selected in an international event organized by OCP.

Aldo graduated in theology from the Archdiocese of San Luis Potosí’s school of theology. He serves in evangelization and preaching in various parishes and with apostolic movements, and serves as a member of the National Team of Evangelizing Musicians with the Mexican Conference of Catholic Bishops.

Married with two daughters, Aldo sings at Mass in the Capilla Jesucristo Rey de Reyes, which belongs to the parish of San José de Reyitos in San Luis Potosí, Mexico.
