  • In partnership with Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and The Diocese of Raleigh, North Carolina, OCP presents "Sing Praise to God," a conference that brings musicians together to do what they love to do, in worship of the God they love to serve.

    Combining the best elements of retreats, teaching and reading sessions. Participants will experience "Sing Praise to God" as a day of renewal and inspiration.

    Large group sessions focus on reflecting on our vocation as pastoral musicians, selecting music for liturgical celebrations, and more. We will learn together as we sing through new music, and discover hidden gems in OCP’s missals and hymnals.

    New Music:

    • Gathering, the Communion Rite, and Dismissal
    • Contemporary, traditional, choral, and more
    • Bi-lingual music that assemblies can sing

    Learning:

    • Vocal techniques for individuals and choirs
    • Planning Music for Next Sunday and Beyond
    • Leading Music with Your Guitar (or Piano)

    • Keynote: The Vocation of the Pastoral Musician
    • Prayer and reflection
