For Your Glory Reigns is the second collaborative effort of three very gifted liturgical songwriters-Gael Berberick, Kevin Keil and Barney Walker.
Traditional hymns, choral anthems and newly arranged spirituals
Following the release of Through the Eyes of Faith in 2006, the trio began work on this wonderful variety of musical forms. The traditional hymns, choral anthems and newly arranged spirituals on this CD are nothing short of amazing.

12 songs spanning the liturgical year
The 12 songs featured span the liturgical year. Included are vibrant seasonal anthems "Hearken and Hear" and "Christ the Lord Is Risen Today." Those contrast beautifully with the more contemplative settings of Benedictine Sister Genevieve Glen, "The Star of Morning" and a setting of the Puer Natus text "A Child is Born in Bethlehem" translated by Owen Alstott.

Magnificent psalm settings
Notably, settings of Psalm 23 "I Shall Live in the House of the Lord," Psalm 34 "Taste and See," and Psalm 42/43 "Like a Dear That Longs" include both verbatim responsorial verses and paraphrased texts for use as Eucharistic procession.

A practical, valuable resource for large choirs and small ensembles
When three composers as talented and experienced as Gael, Kevin and Barney come together, the finished product is magnificent. Created with care and with a deep understanding of how music can bring us closer to God, For Your Glory Reigns should immediately become a valuable and practical resource both for large choirs and small parish ensembles.
