    Calling all singers, musicians, choir members, choir directors and all people who love to sing!

    In partnership with the Diocese of Fresno and St. Paul Newman Center, OCP presents Sing Praise to God—a power-packed, inspiration-packed day for church musicians.

    All are invited to this day of music, learning, and inspiration for pastoral musicians.

    Combining the best elements of retreats, teaching and reading sessions, Sing Praise to God! is a day of renewal and inspiration. Presenters Jaime Cortez, Bob Hurd, and Janet Sullivan Whitaker will lead us through inspirational talks, tips for ministry, prayer, and singing—so much singing! 

    From previous participants:

    Topics for the day include:

    • The Vocation of the Pastoral Musician
    • Cantor Techniques
    • How the Music Serves the Liturgy and the Liturgical Moment
    • Celebrating the Paschal Mystery As a Bi-Cultural Community

    Sessions presented in English and in Spanish.

    From Opening Prayer through Closing, participants will leave Sing Praise to God! with their hearts full of inspiration and their arms full of music. 

    Your registration includes lunch, packets of music and octavos, as well as a complimentary copy of Unidos/United in Christ missal.

    Registration:

    $25 for individuals; $200 per parish, making it possible for you to bring your whole choir. 

    Payments can be made with credit card, billing a parish account, or bringing a check on conference day.
